When blogging makes the papers

Holyrood Watcher noticed on Saturday that two of the blogging community, Kez Dugdale and SNP Tactical Voter, made it onto the pages of the Scotsman newspaper. It all relates to Kez’s post last week alleging that Nicola Sturgeon was horsed out of a shopping centre apparently for breaking rules relating to the recording of interviews in the shopping centre.

Alas, the uber feisty Ms Dugdale is refusing to back down in the row and even a number of emails from the Deputy First Minster – who probably should have more to do than read blogs at the current time – haven’t done anything to make young Ms Dugdale back down.

It’s also perhaps worth reading the comments section of the Scotsman article just to see some of the utter garbage spouted by those that comment on newspaper articles. Most are, naturally, attacking Kezia. It seems that these supposed Cybernats have nothing better to do with their time than to fill comments sections with their rants and tirades. They really should find something better to do with their time, perhaps make friends or find a girlfriend/boyfriend or something. Although one wonders if that is perhaps beyond the abilities of most of those that post on the Scotsman, and other papers, websites.
